About this item This product is a six-piece wiring harness and adapter set intended to support selected Ram truck radio and display conversions. It is a wiring kit only and is not a complete 12-inch screen upgrade package. The 12-inch display, radio or receiver module, dashboard bezel, HVAC controls, mounting hardware and programming equipment are not included. Vehicle Fitment Designed for select 2019-2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 configurations. Source system: factory 5-inch radio or compatible 8.4-inch Uconnect 4/4C system. Target system: compatible 12-inch Uconnect 5 display and radio assembly. Fitment cannot be confirmed by vehicle year and model alone. Ram trucks may use different body configurations, radio generations, modules and connector layouts within the same model year. Compatibility with factory 7-inch systems is not claimed unless the complete original and target system configuration has been independently confirmed. Reference Part Numbers No single OE reference number has been confirmed for this complete six-cable kit. The display, radio module and antenna components may each use separate reference numbers. Confirm the part numbers of the target 12-inch Uconnect 5 display and radio module before ordering. Compare every connector, locking tab, pin arrangement and cable end with the product photos. Product Description The harness set provides selected main radio, display, LVDS, USB and antenna connection adaptations during a compatible Uconnect conversion. It does not add unsupported vehicle functions and does not make an incompatible display or radio module operate correctly. Final functionality depends on the original vehicle equipment, donor display, radio module, controls, software configuration and installed accessories. Some connectors may not be used in every supported configuration. Important Fitment Note Before ordering, confirm the original screen size, original radio generation, vehicle body configuration and target Uconnect 5 component part numbers. Compare the main connector, connector keying, locking tabs, pin layout, LVDS plug, USB plug and antenna connectors with the listing photos. Additional modules, dashboard trim, controls, mounting components, software configuration or vehicle-specific programming may be required. Do not force, cut or modify any connector during installation. If any connector shape, pin count, keying or locking tab differs from the photos, stop installation because the system may not be compatible. Professional installation by an experienced automotive electronics technician is recommended.
