Description
These brass pipe fitting adapters are for connecting two NPT female threaded pipes of different diameter. Suitable for water, air, oil, gas and fuel. A nipple is a fitting, consisting of a short piece of pipe, usually provided with a male pipe thread at each end, for connecting two other fittings. Nipples are commonly used with plumbing and hoses. These fittings are made of brass, which is considered for heavy-duty use. Threads used on these nipples are NPT. Note: We recommend use of Teflon tape to ensure seal of the threading. It is suitable to liquids, gases and even for high vacuum.
