Important Safety Notice: Not suitable for ceramic knives and serrated edge knives. Components & Features: Stage 1: Rough Grinding Bit (Tungsten Steel): For initial sharpening of very dull or damaged knives. Stage 2 & 3: Fine Grinding Bit (Ceramic Discs): For honing and polishing the blade, removing burrs, and creating a fine edge. Stage 4: Scissor Sharpening (Ceramic Disc): Specifically designed for sharpening scissors. Removable Grinding Head: Press the grooves on both sides to lift the head for easy cleaning. Non-Slip Base & Ergonomic Handle: Ensures stability during use and a comfortable grip. Hanging Hole: For convenient storage, helping to keep your kitchen tidy. Instructions for Use: A. Sharpening Knives (Stages 1, 2, 3): Secure the Sharpener: Place the sharpener on a stable, flat surface. The non-slip mats will keep it steady. Select the Stage: For very dull knives, start with Stage 1 (Rough Grinding). For regular maintenance or after Stage 1, use Stage 2 (Fine Grinding). For a final polish and a razor-sharp edge, finish with Stage 3 (Polishing). Sharpen: Hold the knife handle firmly. Place the heel (the part closest to the handle) of the blade into the chosen slot. Applying light pressure, pull the knife towards you in a smooth, steady motion from the heel to the tip. Repeat this process 3-5 times per stage. Do not saw back and forth. B. Sharpening Scissors (Stage 4): Select Stage 4, the slot marked for scissors. Open the scissors fully. Insert the cutting edge of one blade into the slot, keeping the flat side of the blade against the guide. Applying light pressure, slide the scissors through the slot in one smooth motion, from the hinge to the tips. Repeat this process 3-5 times for the same blade. Flip the scissors over and repeat steps 2-4 for the other blade. Test the sharpness on a piece of paper. Cleaning and Maintenance: Removable Head for Cleaning: To clean metal filings, simply press the grooves on the left and right sides of the sharpener head and lift it off. Rinse under water and dry thoroughly before reattaching. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire unit in water. Storage: Use the hanging hole to store your sharpener on a hook, saving space and maintaining kitchen organization.
