• FUNCTION: Add an electric heat strip to your MACH 48xxx & 45xxx Series Air Conditioner or Heat Pump to help take away any unwanted chills. Adds 5,600 BTU heating output to your air conditioner. The heater is an effective “chill chaser”. It is not a substitute for a furnace.
