Biotrue soft contact lens solution is inspired by your eyes and keeps your contact lenses moist for up to 20 hours. Biotrue solution utilizes the lubricant eye's have naturally, hyaluronan (HA). Biotrue hydrates your contact lenses by utilizing hyaluronan (HA), a lubricant found naturally in the eyes. Biotrue combines a dual disinfection system and pH equal to healthy tears and protein management to provide exceptional disinfection. Biotrue matches the pH of healthy tears and enables optimal performance of our dual disinfectants. Biotrue keeps proteins in their native state active as they are naturally in your eye. Biotrue also lifts and removes denatured proteins those that have lost their structure due to factors such as external stresses. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger. With the same hand, pull your lower eyelid down with your middle finger. With the opposite hand, use your index finger to pull your upper eyelid up. Look up and gently place the lens on the lower white part of your eye. Close your eye to allow the lens to center. Repeat with the other lens and eye. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Look up and pull your eyelid down with your middle finger. Put your index finger on the lower part of the lens and slide it down onto the white part of your eye. Gently squeeze the lens with your index finger and thumb to remove it. Follow Biotrue cleaning instructions on package insert. Only fresh solution should be used to clean and store lenses, and must be changed according to the manufacturers recommendations, even if the lenses are not used daily. Do not use any water (which includes distilled water, tap water, and homemade saline solution) on your lenses because it can be a source of microorganisms that may cause serious eye infections.
