Our starters are made from coconuts, soy and eco-friendly, unbleached, uncoated brown kraft paper that gets its color directly from the wood pulp. We also never use paraffin wax as it is an oil byproduct. Unlike many of our competitors, you won’t see us labeling our product “food grade”, “natural” or “food safe” while still using petrochemicals.
