Questions to ask before traveling with your pet: Is my pet too old or young to handle the stress of traveling? Is my pet in poor health? Is my pet recovering from surgery or a traumatic event? Is my pet pregnant? Does my pet get motion sickness? If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, check with your vet if your pet is suited for transport in its current condition. Prep your pet: Be sure to purchase the correct size of carrier appropriate for the weight of your pet. Using a carrier that is too large could result in motion sickness.
